• ALL STUDENTS K-12 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A SCHOOL STAFF OR CHAPERONE, AT ALL TIMES WHILE VISITING THE ZOO.
NC Schools (K-12) may come to the North Carolina Zoo for free beginning September 7, 2021 - June 9, 2022. Reservations are required to be made at least 2 weeks prior to the visit date. No weekends, holidays or dates the zoo deems closed to free school entry. Adults/seniors/ children not part of the school staff or registered class or any school staff above the number of free staff calculated will be charged the regular admission rates as posted at the gate. There are no discounts for zoo entry at this time
• This reservation is for teachers/school staff and the students in their class, not siblings, other children, parents or other relatives or friends, clubs, after school programs, extracurricular activities or summer camps.
All reservations are subject to availability and black out dates.
• NC Public & Private School For School staff making your reservation please call 336-879-7700, Make sure you have your preferred visit date, any alternate dates and number of students per grade level before calling. Visit dates are not guaranteed and subject to availability and black out dates.
NC Home Schools are required to make individual reservations, not as a group. Home Schools may begin calling 336-879-7700 to make reservations August 22, 2021, we will verify you are a state registered home school and complete your reservation. Please make sure you are listed as a home school with NC DNPE before calling as if you are not on their list, we can not make a free registration for you. Visit dates are not guaranteed and subject to availability and black out dates.
•Out-Of-State Schools - We do not offer free admission to out of state school groups. Please call 336-879-7700 to see if you qualify for group rates.
